Here's a poser for you: could there be anything more frightening than a bunch of open source geeks (proud ones, at that) milling around the mean streets of Edinburgh? Well, yes. How about if you put some of them in special Debian kilts?
Yes, those wags behind the worldwide Debian conference have designed a tartan especially for the occasion. We're told that the pattern of the kilt says "Debian" in Morse code, and frankly, we are not surprised.
The conference is being held in Edinburgh, and runs from 16-23 June. The official purpose of the gig is to gather the cream of the worldwide Linux developer community together to debate, discuss, and otherwise dissect all the wonders of non-corporate Linux. But we all know it is really about the beer.
