I have learned that I don't have to be tied to Windows anymore. If I choose to use the Windows operating system, I can. Why would I do this? Some software may not work well through emulation, so I can use Windows. Most of what I do, does not require Windows, so it's much more secure than my Windows base applications.
I have learned that I don't have to wait, every time I boot up, for virus or patches to load. That's so much more efficient than my last few years of running XP.
I don't have to spend exorbitant amounts on run of the mill software. This allows me to choose if I want to spend money on specialized software or web applications.
