Geeks running systems on new processor architectures IA64, HPPA and UltraSparc can now join the Ubuntu world following the release of unofficial Breezy Badger ports yesterday.
The announcement was posted yesterday by Ubuntu Porting Team member, Fabio Massimo Di Nitto, who is also a Canonical developer.
"The addition of IA64, HPPA (1.1 and later) and Sparc (UltraSparc only) will make Ubuntu available to communities sometimes neglected by other distributions," read the announcement.
