The OpenShot developers have announced that they are developing a new feature that would give users the ability to create 3D animated titles in the next version of their open source video editor for Linux.
The new feature, called the "Animated Title Editor", uses version 2.5 of the open source Blender 3D content creation suite to generate animated 3D title sequences behind the scenes.
According to OpenShot creator Jonathan Thomas, the long awaited feature will "bring the power of Blender, the creativity of the Blender community (in the form of templates) to OpenShot in the most intuitive interface possible".
