To directly compare the release of SUSE 10.1 to SUSE 10 in the eyes of the end user.
In this review, I'm hopefully going to highlight most of the changes Joe end-user might notice when upgrading or switching over to 10.1.
My Test Hardware:
LG LU-20 Centrino laptop
1Gig of RAM
60 Seagate HDD
Integrated Graphics (intel 'extreme graphics')
ICH4 integrated sound.
802.11b Intel Pro Wireless Mini-PCI. (aka ipw2100)
It pleases me to see improvements right off the bat.
As with every SUSE release we get to see some new eye-candy and graphics on the install, and this time around SUSE has not left me disappointed in the least. You could suggest the new look smells a bit of apples but as far as I care as long as my eyes don't bleed I'm happy.
