UEFI and Mageia 6 RC Adventure
I had to replace my daughter's desktop computer because it fried during an intense storm. Fortunately, I could rescue the two hard drives and, thus, I did not buy a new hd with the new system. One disk was a storage unit; the other one dual-booted with PicarOS and Mageia 6 Sta2. Normally, it would have been a matter of stuffing the HDs and telling the BIOS to pick the one with the OSs. The new PC, however, came with UEFI.

Samsung, Red Hat to Work on Linux Drivers for Future TechThe metaverse is expected to uproot system design as we know it, and Samsung is one of many hardware vendors re-imagining data center infrastructure in preparation for a parallel 3D world. Samsung is working on new memory technologies that provide faster bandwidth inside hardware for data to travel between CPUs, storage and other computing resources.
