Samsung, Red Hat to Work on Linux Drivers for Future TechThe metaverse is expected to uproot system design as we know it, and Samsung is one of many hardware vendors re-imagining data center infrastructure in preparation for a parallel 3D world. Samsung is working on new memory technologies that provide faster bandwidth inside hardware for data to travel between CPUs, storage and other computing resources. MS SQL Server for Linux??
Why? Is mysql going somewhere? Don't linux servers already run mysql? What network admin would drop an open source package for anything labeled MS?
Have people lost their collective mind? How many examples of MS destroying anything they can't own need to be shown before we tell them to stuff it? Well, I did over 11yrs ago, but I'm just one guy taking care of one home network without any "help" from MS.
