An interview with the developer of space sim Helium Rain who says ‘Linux gaming is alive and well’
I love space, I love how mysterious and dangerous it is and to be able to fly around in a game like Helium Rain [Steam] is fantastic. I decided to have a chat with the developer and they’re very positive about Linux gaming.
We’ve covered Helium Rain here a few times before, so hopefully some of you will be familiar with it. Without further rambling, let's begin!

Task Force is a tactical third-person Unreal Engine 4 shooter coming to Linux
Sometimes, late at night, I endlessly browse the internet to find Linux games worth covering. I don't always find something, but last night I came across the tactical third-person shooter Task Force [Steam, Official Site].
To my surprise, the Steam store page has Linux system requirements, so I dug a little deeper.

GOG adds another classic game 'Death Gate' with a Linux version
GOG have rescued another classic game, this time it's Death Gate and it comes with a Linux version wrapped up with DOSBox.
Originally released in 1994, this retro adventure game is loosely based on The Death Gate Cycle series of books from Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman.

Insurgency: Sandstorm will have a delayed Linux (and Mac) release, story-campaign on cancelled for now
Insurgency: Sandstorm the newest FPS game from New World Interactive is now entering a closed-alpha phase. The sad news is that Linux (and Mac) will see a delayed release. There's quite a lot of information to parse in their latest blog post, so I will only highlight some of the big stuff.
