Netware vs. gnome ?

Netware is for windows, Solaris and AIX 5L, even OsX or Linux. It is terabyte hard disk drives partitioned for network storage in failsafe and redundant computers. Then it is optimized for killer applications for web 2.0 and ajax websites.
Gnome can do netware, but then GPL will allow all the competitors to use it free. No more hardware, software and service revenues for Novell.
What is going to pay the bills at Novell? Novell's business plan is to add Netware to Suse's older version and v10.x for prosperity?
We are stockholders of Msft, Sunw and Novl. Opinions here may be biased.
