Survival game Rust has a big Unity upgrade which should help the Linux version
The Air Power update for the survival game Rust is now live, along with some big new features it also has improved Linux support.
As a little reminder, back in July last year Rust had the SteamOS/Linux icon removed from Steam as they were no longer officially supporting it. The main issues were from the Unity game engine and Facepunch had been unable to upgrade to overcome various Linux issues, until now! It's also worth noting, during this time the Linux version has still been updated alongside the Windows version.

Adapt or Perish, the RTS that has you design your units is releasing next week
The latest unique game from Phr00t's Software, the RTS 'Adapt or Perish' is releasing on Monday 11th February with Linux support.
Unlike most traditional RTS games, Adapt or Perish doesn't have a traditional build list of set units. Instead, you tweak basically everything and create your own. You can adjust their damage, fire rate, range, damage type, special abilities and a whole lot more. It's one of the most customizable RTS games I've ever played.

First-person horror mystery 'Heliophobia' has Linux support and it's very weird
One I missed that released late last year, Heliophobia is a first-person horror mystery set in an incredibly surreal world. I did give it a quick note about it coming in a previous article, however the developer ended up sending over a key to our Steam Curator so I took a look.
It's a pretty odd game, one that involves you warping between memories as you find pictures in some sort of hub world. Each of these memories presents some puzzles and challenges to overcome and they may have freaky monsters to avoid too. I will admit I did find some parts of it really quite creepy!
