GUI on LAMP Server
Polls are showing KDE and Gnome are pretty popular on LAMP Servers.
My question is why? Not the esoteric KDE is better then Gnome (or vice versa) but why would you want/need a GUI on a Server?
re: GUI on LAMP Server
Yeah, I wondered about that too. I even wondered if folks were answering it in terms of a "server." Unexpected results to be sure.

re: GUI on LAMP
I replied Webmin. Rarely use GUI on the server for LAMP admin (just for initial setup and testing of the server). For ongoing maintenance and configuration, I typically use webmin or cpanel.
