CPU design changes up front ?

Wafer scale computer concept has been around for decades. But the design of CPU on wafer scale computers had not been DSPs.
As the semiconductor lithography improve to smaller line width yet; the design of CPU had to have more emphasis on data compression. The most advanced data compression is Prml, which is used in hdd.
To convert data compression of Prml, we used DSP for many years successfully.
Today, we have wafer scale computers 4" diameter and stacked circuits(5 on 5 DC power rails) to achieve 40 bit A/D D/A capability up front, Submicron 0.002 scale. Connections are by omnidirectional antenna via PLL clock select.
