In The Eyes Of GIMP 2.3.15
The GIMP is a project that whenever a new release comes out (stable or not), I can't help but to give it a shot. With the release of GIMP 2.3.15 it made its way onto one of my machines.
Since the release of GIMP 2.3.0 there have been 355 official changes, which does not even include bug fixes or code cleanups. Development in the GNOME 2.3 branch is only about half way completed for GNOME 2.4.0, but at that time it should be one hell of a graphics/image editing open-source application (circa 700 changes). Some of the major changes in the 2.3.15 development snapshot is HAL support for hot-plug of Linux input devices, speed-up transform tools, and added "revert zoom" functionality support. Below are a few screenshots that were taken from a fresh build of GIMP 2.3.15 (built on Fedora 7 Test 2).
