Texstar on Safari

Here are some snapshots of PCLinuxOS' Texstar on vacation in New York City last weekend. He says he's having fun and is glad we ain't there! Laughing out loud

Actually, he said,

We drove into New York City this past weekend. They have a train that goes in but it was more fun to drive in to see more of the city. Next weekend we may make another trip in as there is no way you can see everything in one trip. Anyway we went to Times Square and went around to all of the different areas such as the Garment, Jewerly and Theatre district. We took a tour of the Empire State building which was pretty cool. Next weekend we going to try to get down to the Statue of Liberty.

I have to say I love this city. You can feel the energy here and the people are very nice and friendly if you ask for help. Lots and lots of people. It is just like you see in the movies with tons of people on the streets. Rich people, poor people and people from all over with strange accents and walking like they have to go to the bathroom real bad. People move a lot slower down in Houston. I probably had as much fun people watching as I did hitting the various sites.

I think everyone should try to experience this city once in their lifetime.

Oh, and he said, "I'm not thinking about Linux!"
