Development Release: openSUSE 10.3 Alpha 2 - Andreas Jaeger has announced the second alpha release of openSUSE 10.3: "I'm glad to announce the second public alpha release of openSUSE 10.3. Call for testing: We're using the libata stack now also for IDE controllers. Please do test that an update works and all files are changed.... [DistroWatch]
I downloaded the dvd delta as I've been doing since early on in the 10.2 or late 10.1 development cycle, and today is the first time I ever received an error when trying to applydeltaiso.
So, now I'm trying to bittorrent the entire dvd in, but even coming in faster than most bittorrent software retrievals, it is still estimated to take 18 hours for it all get here. I'm bummed.
Hopefully, it'll be here by the time I get off work tomorrow. And I hope to have a report posted by Saturday afternoon/evening.
