The news worthy MIT free education just released two days ago. The entire curriculum is on their website. It is true, free for all, but after they finished perfecting the courses, will they start charging you half way towards graduation like all the other universities? They get you hooked then they want you to pay?

OLPC is trying soliciting contributions for free OLPC. How much contributions can they get to distribute OLPC to all the chilfren in all the underdeveloped countries?

Is Linus trying to get you hooked then work hard for nothing to help him make FreeLinux work? RedHat, Novell and Mandriva make you pay if you don't fix their products in order to use them. Life is never free, you always owe someone something or pay thru the nose(led like a cow).
