Feisty Fawn Takes A Crash
I have been very pleased up to this point with Ubuntu Feisty Fawn, as you can see from my migration-assistant thoughts, Restricted Drivers Manager, and the excellent WiFi support. Through my adventures so far, I haven't come across much hardware that Ubuntu 7.04 didn't recognize by default or hardware that Feisty Fawn blatantly thought was evil. The Tyan Tomcat i965R and a few other Intel 965 motherboards still have a few issues, but nothing major that can't be addressed. However, one of my legacy boxes has absolutely hated Ubuntu Feisty Fawn. Since the second or third release this system simply hasn't liked 7.04, but will run great with Edgy Eft, Dapper Drake, and even Warty Warthog and Hoary Hedgehog. When it comes to Feisty Fawn, the problems had begun with odd behavior then turned into restarting at random, and now with the beta release of Ubuntu 7.04 it turns itself off.
