Kanotix may be a dead distro, but the Kanotix forums still contained a wealth of useful, searchable information. However, the forum was down for several days. When asked about this on IRC, Kano said he got mad at some post involving a discussion of Debian Etch (maybe this one? I'm not sure), and shut it down. All that information gone, poof.
I really, really don't understand these people. Kinda makes you want to shy away from small distros.
Fortunately, he put the forum back up again.
