ARRS(Arris Group in USA) is supplying the equipment in Japan for highgrade service offered by J.com. ARRS suplied both the headend and the downstream modem over J.com network.

It is based on the forthcoming Docsis v3.0 technology with 256Qam. Software switches cpeeds(slow or fast), so that future improvement is only a new software release away.
