Review: SimplyMEPIS 3.3 Linux

Randi submits, "XtremeResources is pleased to announce the publication of a review of the SimplyMepis 3.3 Linux Distribution by our very own Steve "sjohnson" Johnson."
This is a really nice review of Mepis starting out with a little background on Warren Woodford. The review includes some
of his hurdles encountered complete with lovely screenshots. Mr. Johnson states, "SimplyMEPIS 3.3 is so much easier to install and use than any other Linux distribution I've tried that I don't hesitate in recommending it to anyone. Other Linux distributions have their merits for seasoned users but SimplyMEPIS 3.3 needs no geek degree to install or use. MEPIS is the first Linux Distribution that I felt had a chance of replacing Windows." He concludes with some pros and cons and exclaims, "SimplyMEPIS has replaced Windows on my daily use PC".
This review is one of the better presentations I've read. Thank you Randi for your submission.

| Red Hat Hires a Blind Software Engineer to Improve Accessibility on Linux Desktop
Accessibility on a Linux desktop is not one of the strongest points to highlight. However, GNOME, one of the best desktop environments, has managed to do better comparatively (I think).
In a blog post by Christian Fredrik Schaller (Director for Desktop/Graphics, Red Hat), he mentions that they are making serious efforts to improve accessibility.
Starting with Red Hat hiring Lukas Tyrychtr, who is a blind software engineer to lead the effort in improving Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and Fedora Workstation in terms of accessibility.
