PCLinuxOS 2007 TR4 Released
"Texstar and the Ripper Gang are pleased to announce the release of the fourth and final test release of PCLinuxOS 2007! Mirrors are currently being updated so please allow 24 hours for all mirrors to sync up.
Release notes: This test release includes updated kernel 2.6.18.8 which we hope will address some boot hang issues experienced with a few of our users, updated hal/udev for better peripheral handling, Java updates, updated KDE 3.5.6 desktop optimized for speed, Open Office 2.2.0, new Nvidia and ATI proprietary rpms in our testing repository (not on livecd) with self configuration scripts (needs testing), bug fixes and many many updated packages. Additional software not included on our LiveCD is available after install through our apt-get Synaptic Software Manager."

Samsung, Red Hat to Work on Linux Drivers for Future TechThe metaverse is expected to uproot system design as we know it, and Samsung is one of many hardware vendors re-imagining data center infrastructure in preparation for a parallel 3D world. PCLinuxOS has always sold through On-disk.com...where have you guys been? You've been able to get copies through on-disk since .8 and probably before that.
