Interesting stuff on the web this week June 30, 2007 ?
Secured websites and Juno has to be logged off? Banks will log you off politely. But the real time invasion of the net made many websites a problem(atm synchronization) if you do not log off yourself. It leaves a security gap that hackers can invade your computer. This is a problem with Juno.com. Be sure to log off immediately after you are thru. Or else make sure you have Google toolbar with its firewall. If you leave the connection to Juno active, it can send you a signal to your dialup modem and lock it for no more further communication. You need to power off and reboot.
If you are refined, stay off coarse language, and not pushy for your prejudice and emotions, and wrong advice but strong opinion, you will not be banned by the Murga forum. The Puppy Linux forum that many had their sanity bruised. Some one expose it at DistroWatch this week, and Distrowatch(Borat reference) got exposed on Murga's website too. Interesting stuff to read, but just bruised ego.
Here at Tuxmachines.org, we are fortunate that the webmasters treat us kindly; but watch your language too? Everyone with a civil tongue is welcomed to write here?
GPLv3 is finally out; but the lawyers have to go back to law schools. Trying a proclamation, not a contract or rather GPLv3 got stuck with the law of the land(copyright and patent)? GPLv3 can not be a revolution against the law of the land. How many will be fooled to think they have a legal position with GPLv3 when big money tries to prosecute any violation of copyrights and patents?
Its all on the net, this week?
