Mandriva Corporate Desktop 4.0 beta
Mandriva has released a beta version of their business based desktops in Mandriva Corporate Desktop (MCD) 4.0.
Mandriva, on the heels of trying to gain popularity in the office environment has released a desktop that can rival its opponents like the Micorsoft sponsored Suse Linux Enterprise Desktop (SLED) and RedHat's Fedora desktop.
Installation
Mandriva Corporate Desktop 4 comes in two flavors, the 32-bit and the 64-bit versions. Depending on your hardware, you can choose between either version. Now with hardware being cheap and both Intel and AMD supporting 64 bit software, there is no real reason why not to go 64 bit (well unless your company needs flash, Adobe still did not release a 64 bit version yet!).
