I would like to introduce you to Microsoft's latest Vista Victim
Like most people, Ed is a computer user...a novice computer user. He has a set number of tasks he assigns to his computer and rarely if ever deviates from them. That's not because he wants to, but like most computer users, it's all he knows how to do.
*Ed reaches a tech support agent for his system and is asked a string of questions no casual computer user can answer.
*After 49 minutes on the phone with the tech support agent, he is told that his system is broken and he must reinstall.
*Ed dutifully holds while he is transferred and then reaches someone who convinces him that Vista is indeed his solution.
*Ed dutifully goes to CompUSA to purchase Microsoft Vista.
Ed's brand new computer with a four hundred dollar operating system "included" had booted into a BSOD.

What happened?
Where did this article go? It's as if it vanished off the face of the guy's blog (but not Tuxmachines, thank God)...
re: What happened?
Well, he did a followup, or what I thought was a followup - but I guess it was a replacement HERE.
I don't know how much he's changed the story. I saw something about "another helios quest." The first story just told what happened to this person and it turned out to be a senior citizen.
