GNOME 2.20.0 beta 1 released, bug day planned
The first beta release of GNOME 2.20 was announced late last week. According to the release schedule, the second beta release will occur on August 29.
A release candidate is scheduled for early September and the final release will occur on September 19. The UI freeze is already in effect, so the current beta release provides a lot of insight into what the final release is going to look like.
A lot of nice features have been implemented for GNOME 2.20.
