Being the first to submit popular news stories to social news sites just got easier with the release of a new Firefox plug-in by SEO company, 97th floor.

The tool, Social Media for Firefox, enables internet users to view stats on a particular story in regards to which news sites it has been submitted to and how many votes it has received. The user can then submit the story to a forum that it is not yet on, by simply pressing the relevant icon.

Feedback so far has been mixed.
