Is PCLinuxOS challenging Ubuntu?
On my recent poll, you can see that PCLOS was barely edged out in popularity be Ubuntu / Kubuntu. Maybe I have more PCLOS readers than some Linux blogs, but I have no real way to know that. Currently, PCLOS is beating Ubuntu on Distrowatch. Maybe the fact that Ubuntu has several different versions affects this, but that is unlikely. It's the Ubuntu name from which all those other versions spring, so I think "Ubuntu" is sufficiently representative of the Ubuntu family.
Why is PCLOS showing such popularity on my site and Distrowatch?
