What are threads ? What are multicores ?
As this world develops enterprise systems on the internet, Google has 175,000 grids(individual single core computers); each thread supplies search engine with library of data and must be transferred on individual threads(dotnet packets). Multitasking with multithreads?
Many mainframe computers now consists of not only blades of computers but with multicored cpus. It becomes apparent that multicored cpus(brains) are the connections of each machine(hardware).
So, the operating system of enterprise endeavor, must think clearly of machines to be connected and threads to do data transfer individually. And schedule as such.
Any thing less, would create chaos in the small operating system?
However, we have learned that the packet system used on the internet can use tiny Linux operating system with browser. Browser can connect to any thread service by any multicored machines. The multicored machines have IPv6 addresses, which identifies the multicored cpu.
Prex(4kb) can dialup cellphone central office and connect to any website for text messages. IPv6 is the new addresses of multicored machines? Does it mean each IPv6 address is a website, and each multicored cpu is a website of toolbar, taskbar and faxed webpages for download?
Yes, indeed.
