Reduced bandwidth is social club for $5/mo ?
Webpage delivery is now congested on the internet.
Luckily there is a data compression for 5x reduction of webpage data length. It is used by Yahoo, Juno, and even Gis.net.
You pay $5/mo. and they send you a 5 mb software. Then they use a server with data compression on the fly to deliver any webpage on the internet for up to 5x data compression. Ads maybe removed.
When we submit a website to Google, Yahoo and Msn; they download the website so that they can search faster without the ads links. Social club fees can start without any advertizing framebuffer links on the webpage.
Of course, for cellphone viewing, Opera mini charges the website to offer reduced content(summary). Someday they may charge a fee for cellphone users to download fast? Tuxmachines has summary for delivery to subscribers in Drupal.
Social club can be done fairly easy at tuxmachines.org because Drupal already has subscription feature for categories of articles published on this website. And paypal or p.o.box for checks will be able to collect a fee regularly?
Eventually faxed webpage(by email) is a reduced bandwidth service too. Service revenue is great for the prestige of social club members? But first we have to build up social events? Maybe small obscure(forgotten) linux applications(skipstone) for download?
