There are such a thing as compact clam shell oven to bake food in 7 minutes. The famous one is the Xpress101($48.00 for two) advertised on TV by Cathy E. Mitchell.

What is more interesting is a product sold by Walgreen, which is called Omelet Maker. But only $9.95 and no recipes. Even has $3.00 rebate until Nov.24, 2007.

Cooks sandwiches pretty much the same perhaps. Other recipes had to be tried out. Essentially You preheat the oven, then put food in to be cooked. You can bake cakes, Cook raw food with water and oil(butter). And heat wraps with cooked food.

Nice toy? But you need two to cook a full meal(meat, vegetable, grains) with desert(cake) in 4 cavities, for each person?

Note: Non stick surface is ceramic, which is tough and porous. Some food may get stuck, bit hot water will loosen the charred food to be removed. Hence, always cook water with some liberal amount of oil or butter in the water. If water boiled away, the oil will prevent food from stuck on the ceramic surface(French cooking technique on their ceramic cooking utensils).
