Glipper: Clipboard Management for GNOME
One of the things that has annoyed me most about GNOME as I've played with it lately is the lack of a clipboard manager comparable to Klipper on KDE. However, as I was looking for a package in Synaptic, I managed to come across a program that does the job quite well: Glipper.
Installing
As one would expect, installing Glipper is a breeze on Ubuntu (no pun intended for users of Ubuntu 5.10). First, make sure that you have the Universe repository enabled. After that, simply install the package "glipper" using your method of choice. From the command line, this is simply:
sudo aptitude install glipper
For other distributions, you will have to search elsewhere as Glipper's sourceforge page only offers source code. For starters, RPM Find has packages for Mandriva and Fedora.
