A Look at Pardus 2007.3 Lynx

Pardus is a Linux distribution developed by the Turkish National Research Institute of Electronics and Cryptography. I'd never seen it before this week and only heard the name briefly in passing, so I had no idea what to expect. There were a few things that immediately stood out about Pardus for me, though: it has its own package management system called PISI (Packages Installed Successfully, as Intended), it's pretty new on the already crowded Linux distro scene but not based on any other distro, and it contains some really interesting developments. I spent a few days with Pardus and here's how I got on.

sorry, and thanks.
Roots of Pardus and Pclos 2007 is kernel 2.6.18.8 ?
Often, people started distros with their own pride? But it traces to kernel version that others had good sucesses.
Then you might call all your files different names? In design and architecture?
But we are happy that languages are the Pardus contributions; then the need for installer and package repositories. Still, we will encourage Pardus to have internet application extensions of their operating system for their livecd?
Does it mean Pclos now gained a repository, only if Texstar can use it to advantage?
Xorg config file changes just needed an extra gui to select what changes you want on resolution and other features. But the screen resolution from gui(s) and webpages are more difficult to handle to fit the monitor resolution; until you can use jpeg to zoom to size? There are encoder and decoder of jpeg(also motion jpeg) and zoom software to fit the resolution of monitors.
