Man indicted on 75 counts of fraud for using M$ logo
Iowa Authorities say a Davenport man illegally used the Microsoft Corporation's trademark to get personal information from customers.
He faces a 75-count fraud indictment in federal court.The lawsuit against Jayson Harris was filed last week in U.S. District Court. He made his initial court appearance on Monday.Harris is accused of sending e-mails to customers of MSN, requesting that they visit a Web site that appeared to be operated by Microsoft. It requested that customers update their accounts by providing personal information.Micorsoft won a three (m)million dollar judgment against Harris in December for a similar scam filed in Washington state.
