Pixar faces SEC inquiry

Steve Jobs' Pixar Animation Studios said today it has received an ``informal request for information'' from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

The Wall Street Journal reported today that the request deals with higher than expected returns of the DVD ``The Incredibles,'' which caused the company to miss its earnings projections for the second-quarter.

A rival animation studio, DreamWorks Animation SKG, faces a government inquiry over its projections of sales for the ``Shrek 2'' DVD.

Pre-releases of the Wily Werewolf are *not* encouraged for anyone needing a stable system or anyone who is not comfortable running into occasional, even frequent breakage.
