Calling developers for data compression on scripts ?

The Linux compression is beyond Microsoft compression of 2.1 ratio. Linux compression is basically squashfs, which is script compression. Currently more than 3.5 ratio. Microsoft uses codes not compressed, so it is bulky.

Recently Squashfs v3.3 was released, and Barry of the Puppy fame discovered slightly over 1% more compression. But it is not a thorough script compression.

To do a creditable job; squashfs had to have a compression code for each script version and each line of codes separating out bindings and linkages also compressed, be it perl, python or php. On the other hand on internet, you only need ascii code compression by encoding keyboard input to 1x8 pixels; then php script, line by line compression.

It will be fun, then to encode pixels by Mpeg4/h.264.
