It was a typical Wednesday night for this particular Borg who we will call for the sake of names Locutus As Locutus had to go straight to a Linux Users Group meeting from work he remotely logged in via ssh with a secure key and set the borgship to start recording from the DVR-card his comedies that would be starting while at the meeting.

Comming home after the meeting where a penguin picnic was planned Locutus sits down in front of the borgship and reads a few mails, blogs and news item. All the while the DVR card is still streaming its MPEG to the hard drive. Correspondence work finished and ready for a relaxing giggle at the comedy shows Locutus starts watching the beginning of the DVR MPEG stream while it is still recording.

Everything is going swimmingly and then Mrs. Locutus comes in with a request. She wanted some photo's that we had taken to be made into a VCD so she could show them to her friends. So flicking between full screen and a window Locutus continued watching TV and started up Digikam.
