Five Ways Vista is Better than Linux!
I am going to briefly list five reasons I would say Vista is better than Linux. I am not passing a final judgement between the two OSes. I firmly believe it is best to leave the choice of OS up to the end user. I currently use OS X, Fedora 8, Ubuntu 7.10, openSUSE, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003 and Windows Vista.
The List
1. Too Much Choice
Linux offers too much choice in my opinion. There are way too many distros and many of them have their own peculiar way to configure the system. Debian, Arch, openSUSE, and Fedora each have their own way to configure the system configuration. While this might be fun for a person who is really in to learning new things it makes it difficult for new users to find information to help them resolve issues or tweak the system.
2. Desktop Performance - The GUI

Vista vs. Linux
It's a bit late for an April Fool however if the author is serious I will comment that embracing Vista is something like a bad marriage.
During the honeymoon you discover a few nice features. After the honeymoon you have household problems. Vista has frequent "headaches." You run registry cleaners, anti virus programs and anti spyware programs. The headaches go away for a few days but come back.
Meanwhile you have been cheating on your spouse and occasionally booting one of those Linux live Cd's. The mistress performs all the duties one would expect and doesn't seem to have those damn headaches!
Finally you go to divorce court. Vista (surname Gates) is dumped and you remarry a Linux distro (surname Tux).
Life is good again and Vista is just a memory.
