Hothead Games together with Penny Arcade released a very interesting game called “Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness”. It can be purchased at $20 in Greenhouse Internet store, which is a counterpart of more known Steam Games. Nothing peculiar, you say? And you’d be right if not for one small detail: the game is available also for GNU/Linux.

The game is a mixture of arcade with cRPG and is based on a popular comic book: Penny Arcade. After creating own own character we are teleported to Arkadia, year 1922. The adventure begins innocently, when a huge robot destroys our previously calm and quiet town…

As we have been very attached to our little house, we need to quickly hit the road to follow the iron monster. It won’t be easy, though, since on our way we need to defeat many opponents. Each victory is an occasion to get some cool equipment that will help us with our cruel revenge
