Fedora 9 & KDE 4 review

Fedora 9 with default installation, starts you with the Gnome Desktop Environment, but all of us here at InaTux personally prefer KDE. So, we went through the installation process once more, and we saw a "Customize further" option which by default was set for "Customize later" we than changed it to "Customize now" which gave us the option of uninstalling Gnome and installing KDE, along with a bundle of useful programs; we almost installed them all.

When we first started Fedora 9 with now KDE 4 after installation, it looked like a style-less Windows 98, which didn't sit well with us, but we had this same problem with KDE 3.5 on Fedora 8 as well, so we knew it was probably just the "kdegraphics" update wasn't installed, and just as we thought running the "Software Updater" fixed this problem.
