Interview: Aaron Fulkerson of MindTouch Software
I had the unique opportunity to interview Aaron Fulkerson of MindTouch, and discuss their new MindTouch Deki known as "Kilen Woods". What he had to say was quite interesting.
Raiden's Realm: Tell us a little about MindTouch.
Aaron Fulkerson: Sure. We develop MindTouch Deki. We started the company in 2005. I'm one of the founders. And then there's my buddy Steve who's the CTO. We met at Microsoft where we did research into distributed systems, and then we decided to start MindTouch. In 2005 we started, and in 2006 we did our first product release at OSCON, and I guess that first release was more of an enterprise wiki, which is pretty much the extent of what it did. So it was competitive with other enterprise wikis out there. But what we had in development from the very beginning of MindTouch was this web services framework and web orchestration engine that underlined this enterprise wiki interface.
