I recently got myself a new laptop. After having tried Fedora, Mint, and Debian Etch on it, I decided to go the Debian Sid route.

This I accomplished using the Sidux live cd installer. Sidux offer a some things in addition to default Debian, but it’s basically just an easy way to install the unstable branch of Debian.

Now, I must say, I am very impressed with Debian Sid. It’s fast and light, and really more stable than what you would imagine.
