KDE 3.5 Beta 2 "Koalition" is Waiting

The KDE Project is pleased to announce the immediate availability of KDE 3.5 Beta 2, dubbed "Koalition". The 3.5 Beta 2 info page lists where to download with packages available for Archlinux, Kubuntu, Slackware and SUSE.

I'll be the first to admit that I'm a 'GUI' ho and that I think one of the most important things about the desktop is the way it looks. But from the comments I read on the link you provided, I'll be waiting before I go to KDE 3.5. From the sound of things, there is still some things that need to be accomplished before 3.5 is really ready for testing.

Bring me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses, yearning to free themselves from the shackles of mindless desktop experiences

Python 3 Support Added To The GNOME Shell

The GNOME Shell 3.15.2 release fixes some visual glitching, improves the layout of the extension installation dialog, supports the CSS margin property, and offers other bug fixes and minor enhancements.
