Presenting with Linux - Impress with Success
One of the biggest things about any effort to advertise Linux among your fellow workers or classmates is to demonstrate it yourself in your everyday activities. A rather simple example of this can come from doing presentations.
For years, Powerpoint has been the dominant powerhouse in the world of business and professional presenting. You either had powerpoint or you looked like a raving idiot whenever you did your reports or presentations. What's funny about that however, is that instead of someone coming in and displacing Powerpoint as king, it's done that to itself.
I enjoy the grimaces I see when people describe having to either use Powerpoint, or sit through presentations created in it. Some of them even squirm as though they were at the dentist having a mouth full of cavities removed with a dull drill. And that's understandable. Even I hate Powerpoint with a passion. But,

Samsung, Red Hat to Work on Linux Drivers for Future TechThe metaverse is expected to uproot system design as we know it, and Samsung is one of many hardware vendors re-imagining data center infrastructure in preparation for a parallel 3D world.
