These are some reasons why there are so many Linux distributions floating around.

So while trying all of these Distributions you will always find something that you don't quite like. Fortunately with Linux it is so flexible that you can change it to suit yourself. In essence creating your own perfect Linux. You don't have to be a programmer either.
