I don't know if you have ever seen a real penguin parade with real live penguins but they are fun to see. There is hundreds of penguins, smartly dressed up in their tuxedos, marching along. It seems that it is just a wave of black and white forms sweeping past you and it will never stop.

However if you look closer at those individual penguins you will see that they are not all clones of each other. They do not all do the same thing at the same time. They are all individuals with their own characteristics.

I would say that penguins of human form, ie, those who use Linux, do so for many reasons as well. One of those reasons is that Linux is fun to use. Yes, I am saying that an operating system is fun to use. I don't mean fun in terms of whizz bang kill the bad guy save the planet type of computer game fun. I mean in the terms of the things you can do to make your computing experience satisfying and fulfilling.
