Linux loses its religion
EERO TEERIKORPI, who runs Continuent told us yesterday that the religious fervour that used to grip Open Source advocates has largely abated as the software matures and has become pervasive.
Teerikorpi said that large corporations have now accepted that open source software is an important part of their businesses and that it can offer many advantages provided its managed properly.

Normally I like to see stuff like facts and numbers and proof and stuff like that (yes, I'm that picky), but since EERO TEERIKORPI is telling us the religious fervour is over, well..... it MUST be over.
Don't know what imaginary world EERO lives in, but it's still suits vs. freaks here in the states. Open Source still has a long long long way to go (and should be doing a much better job at self policing) before it can be presented without the "cringe factor" at any type of Corp. planning session.
