This week, it seems like everyone is writing about how Windows 7 spells the demise of Linux (or not) or, alternatively, how Linux has contributed to the decline of Microsoft. I figure we’ve got several weeks left to kick them around, though, don’t you? So with that in mind, I found some practical resources to highlight.

First, you can’t beat free for good value, so if you need a handy reference guide for yourself or a fellow Ubuntu user, you can download a copy of Keir Thomas’ Ubuntu Pocket Guide and Reference in a handy PDF format, gratis.
