Earlier we covered the new, shiny GUI for Ubuntu that HP started shipping with the new Mini Mi netbook. Unsurprisingly, it didn’t take long for jealous, non-HP Ubuntu users to figure out how to install the HP Mobile Experience Interface on their own computers. Posters on the Ubuntu Forums have even set up repositories to make things a little easier, but make sure to read the forums before trying this as some users have run into some problems along the way.
