OpenOffice 3.1 RC2 released

The OpenOffice developers have announced the availability of the second release candidate (RC2) of version 3.1 of their free open source office suite.

OpenOffice 3.1 RC2 addresses several major bugs, that were found in the first release candidate. Originally, the second release candidate was expected to appear in the week after Easter. The final release, previously scheduled for the 26th of April, has now been moved to the 7th of May.
