Windows beats Linux market share, dog bites man
Several recent stories have proclaimed that the Linux community was left stunned, stunned I tell you, by the news that a Gartner survey found that Windows, in terms of revenue, has outsold Linux on servers.
Who are these morons, and where do they come from?
I've never seen a study showing that Linux has ever outsold Windows in terms of revenue.
I make my living from paying attention to this stuff, and the last I knew, Windows always outsells Linux on the server and everywhere else. If things had changed, I think I would have noticed.
